Coolum FC currently participates in the Football Queensland Premier League 3 and Senior Community Football Competitions within the Football Queensland Sunshine Coast Region. Subject to interest, Coolum FC are also able to enter teams in the Girls United Social Competition for girls and women aged 15+.

The Senior competitions run from February/March until September. Girls aged over 15 and Boys aged over 16 are eligible to play in senior competitions subject to approval from the Technical Director and team coach.

New players/teams are welcome. Expressions of interest in playing are taken at any time throughout the year via mens@coolumfc.com.au and womens@coolumfc.com.au. Players will be invited to participate in a trial with the most appropriate team prior to registering. Players MUST register to confirm their position on a team.

In 2024, Coolum had 7 senior teams: FQPL3 Men, U23 Men, Division 1 Women, Division 2 Men (League Champions & Grand Finalists), O35 Division 1 Men (Two teams, one Grand Finalist, one Semi-Finalist), O35 Division 2 Men (Grand Finalist). 

The cost for registration for 2025 will remain unchanged at $550 for the season. Players will need to purchase Coolum FC socks and shorts and provide their own shin guards and boots. A playing shirt will be provided for all players. An optional 50th year anniversary training shirt will be available to purchase via the Squadi shop shortly.

Registration is completed via registration.squadi.com any questions regarding registration should be directed to registrar@coolumfc.com.au. Registration for the 2025 season will open in November 2024.

Coolum Football Club provides a coach for Premier level teams. Community teams are coached by volunteers. Volunteers are required to hold blue cards and are encouraged to complete the Foundations of Football Coaching Course with Football Queensland.
