Coolum FC currently participates in the Football Queensland Premier League 3 and Senior Community Football Competitions within the Football Queensland Sunshine Coast Region.

The Senior competitions run from until September. Girls aged over 15 and Boys aged over 16 are eligible to play in senior competitions subject to approval from the Technical Director and team coach.

New players/teams are welcome. Expressions of interest in playing are taken at any time throughout the year via mens@coolumfc.com.au and womens@coolumfc.com.au. Players will be invited to participate in a trial with the most appropriate team prior to registering. Players MUST register to confirm their position on a team.

In 2025, Coolum had 10 senior teams: FQPL3 Men, U23 Men, Division 1 & 2 Women, 2 x Division 1 Men, 2 x O35 Division 1 Men and 2 x O35 Division 2 Men. 6 of these teams participated in finals, 4 made it through to Grand Finals, and 2 won their grand finals. The Over 35 Division One Blue and Over 35 Division Two Maroon Team were also League Champions, while the Division One women were not only League Champions but also were crowned 2025 Senior Community Team of the Year. 

The cost for registration for 2026 will remain unchanged at $550 for the season. Players will need to purchase Coolum FC socks and shorts and provide their own shin guards and boots. A playing shirt will be provided for all players.

Coolum Football Club provides a coach for Premier level teams. Community teams are coached by volunteers. Volunteers are required to hold blue cards and are encouraged to complete the Foundations of Football Coaching Course with Football Queensland. Each team also benefits if a player/family member volunteers to act as manager. If you are interested in getting involved in coaching or managing a team, please contact techdirector@coolumfc.com.au
